Classic lighting

Everything I read indicates that sconces on either side of mirrors provide better bathroom light because they do not cast shadows on faces. However, there are some spaces that need above-mirror lighting for various reasons. Our full bathrooms have above-mirror lighting because of space allowances and the mirror designs.

Here are some of the lights we found that have a vintage feel.

The Bradford collection by Hudson Valley Lighting "recalls the sturdy design of gas lighting." The series also includes a 4-lamp, sconce, and pendant in 3 finishes.

Progress Lighting has a charming fixture with prismatic style glass shades which reminds me of some fixtures I've seen in older homes. The Archie collection is both traditional and classic and contains several different styles.
