Memories of wishing for some sort of privacy


Please don't misunderstand. The bathroom pictured below is lovely. There are so many beautiful features and just looking at the photo causes me to feel relaxed. I can imagine leaving this calming environment without a worry in the world. It takes spa to another level!

Sweet grass baskets

CBS News shared a video on Charleston area sweet grass basket artists. These baskets, available on street corners and in various markets around Charleston, are some of the most wonderful I've ever seen. Southern Living magazine calls the baskets a "must-have" and "a glorious souvenir and symbol of the Lowcountry - and our South."

Poogan's Porch in Charleston

We missed eating at Poogan's Porch while in Charleston, but it's on my must-visit-list when we get to return. I keep hearing about those biscuits that sound scrumptious.
